At Forest Essentials, we believe skincare is deeply personal. Our customised skincare line is designed with meticulous attention, rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom, scientific research, and the understanding that each skin journey is unique. Below are our detailed policies and frequently asked questions to help guide your experience with us.
1. Payment Policy
Expert Consultation Fee
Our Ayurvedic doctors, skincare scientists, and formulation experts invest extensive time in understanding your skin’s unique history, concerns, and characteristics. Given the highly personalised nature of this offering, we charge a consultation fee of INR 3000 to ensure this service is accessed by those genuinely seeking a tailored solution.
This consultation fee will be fully adjusted against your final order amount if you proceed with the recommended customised skincare product.
Pricing of Your Customised Skincare Product
Each formulation is as unique as your skin. The price of your customised skincare product will be determined after:
- You pay the consultation fee.
- You complete our detailed skin analysis questionnaire.
- You engage in a one-on-one consultation with our Ayurvedic expert.
Based on this process, our team will craft a personalised formulation and share it with you along with the final pricing. Proceeding with the recommendation is entirely your choice.
If you choose to go ahead, your INR 3000 consultation fee will be deducted from the total. Should you choose not to proceed, the consultation fee will be non-refundable, in light of the extensive expert time and analysis already provided.
Please note: Our Ayurvedic doctors thoughtfully create personalised recommendations with care and attention just for you. To help us continue providing this dedicated service, the consultation fee is applicable for 72 hours from the time you receive the recommendation letter. If you need more time or decide not to proceed, the recommendation will naturally expire. We completely understand that timing can vary and are here to support you whenever you’re ready to continue your skincare journey.
2. Accepted Modes of Payment
- Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
- Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay)
- Net Banking (Select banks)
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)
- Mobile Wallets (Paytm, Amazon Pay, HDFC PayZapp, and others)
Note: For Visa/MasterCard payments, your card must be registered for Verified by Visa (VBV) or MasterCard Secure Code (MSC). For Amex, you’ll need to enter your 15-digit card number and 4-digit code.
Important: Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for customised skincare products. Soundarya Loyalty Club points, Soundarya Coupons and Forest Essentials gift cards are not redeemable against this service. You will not earn Soundarya Club points on purchases of customised skincare products.
3. Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
As each customised skincare product is carefully tailored to your unique needs, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or refund requests once your order has been confirmed and processed.
We deeply value your trust and are committed to delivering excellence. However, due to the personal nature of the product, we appreciate your understanding that all sales are final.
4. Payment Security
Your privacy and payment safety are paramount. All transactions made on our website are secured using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.
- Look for the padlock icon in your browser to confirm a secure session.
- We also require CVV/CVC codes for credit and debit card payments, adding an extra layer of security.
This ensures that your payment data is handled with the same care and precision we apply to your skincare.
5. Shipping Policy
Delivery Timelines
Your customised skincare product will be ready for dispatch within 10 business days from the date of full payment confirmation. In rare cases of delays, our customer service team will proactively keep you informed.
Shipping Destinations
Currently, customised skin care services and product deliveries are available only to consumers in India. Should this service be introduced for export in the future, you will receive communication from the brand accordingly.
Please Note: A signature or OTP confirmation is required upon delivery. If unavailable, please ensure a trusted individual is authorised to receive it. Forest Essentials is not responsible for damage post-delivery or for delays caused by third-party logistics providers. Any claims for shortages or damages must be reported to our customer service on the day of delivery. For international orders, all customs duties and clearance charges must be borne by the customer. Our delivery partners can assist with documentation, but clearance processes are beyond our control.
6. How to Order Your Customised Skincare Product
- Step 1 – Begin Your Journey
Visit our Customised Skincare webpage and click “Customise Now”. You’ll be asked to enter your name, email ID, and phone number. By submitting your details, you consent to being contacted by our Ayurvedic Experts, Customer Care, and relevant departments via call, WhatsApp, or email for the consultation process. - Step 2 – Make Your Payment & Fill the Skin Questionnaire
Once the INR 3000 consultation fee is paid, you will gain access to our in-depth, expert-designed questionnaire. This form is curated to capture your skin’s history, current condition, preferences, and goals. - Step 3 – Schedule Your Consultation
After submitting the questionnaire: Select a time slot that works for you. You will receive an email with a secure virtual meeting link. At the chosen time, one of our Ayurvedic Experts will connect with you to understand your concerns in greater detail. This personalised consultation is the heart of your customised skincare journey. - Step 4 – Your Custom Formula Is Revealed
Our R&D team and Ayurvedic formulators will analyse your inputs and craft a formulation tailored to your skin’s unique needs and preferences. You will receive a detailed breakdown of your customised skincare product and the final price. At this point, you may decide whether to proceed. If you confirm the order and make the final payment (excluding the INR 3000 already paid), we will begin preparing your product. - Step 5 – Your Customised Skincare Product Is Delivered
Once created, your product will be delivered to your address, accompanied by a personalised regimen card, offering guidance on how to integrate it into your daily skincare ritual for optimal results.

7. Important Note on Finalisation of Your Customised Formula
Your customised skincare product is crafted with utmost care, precision, and intention. Once your bespoke formula has been finalized, the payment link will be issued for your approval.
Please note: Once payment has been made and the formulation enters production, we will be unable to accommodate any changes to the formulation. This includes alterations in ingredients, concentrations, texture, or other preferences.
To ensure the best possible outcome, we strongly encourage you to engage in a comprehensive discussion with our Ayurvedic Expert during your consultation call. This is your opportunity to share your skincare history, lifestyle considerations, product expectations, and ask any questions—so we can tailor a formulation that aligns perfectly with your needs.

8. Promotions & Offers – Gift With Purchase Policy
Please note that orders placed under the Customised Skincare service are not eligible for any promotional offers, including Gift With Purchase (GWP) incentives—even if your consultation, formula finalisation, or payment occurs during an active offer period.
Customised skincare products are formulated specifically for you, based on detailed analysis and expert consultation. Due to the one-on-one nature of this service and the resources involved in creating a bespoke solution, they fall outside the scope of standard promotional programs.
